Parties

This Service Agreement is between Future by Design Australia and the NDIS participant or their NDIS nominee/legal decision maker. This Service Agreement will be active until either you or Future by Design Australia decides to let the other party know (in writing) to cancel it. You will not need to sign a new agreement if you get a new NDIS plan and would like to continue using our service.


In signing, you consent for your personal details and payment history to be transferred to Future by Design to ensure continuity of service.

Our responsibilities to you

  • To provide financial intermediary services in a timely, professional manner, within the limits of your NDIS plan

  • To pay the invoices of people you receive supports from

  • To reimburse you for costs incurred for supports directly

  • To keep track and communicate with you about what moneys have been spent, against your budget.  This will usually be in the form of a monthly summary.

  • To clarify any issues with suppliers or the NDIS on your behalf with regard to supports and payments.

  • To keep your personal information private, except where we have agreed otherwise

  • To provide information to you in ways that are clear and easy to use

  • To let you know if we have any concerns about how your budget is going

  • To provide information to the NDIA on your behalf when you have a plan review

  • To be open to your feedback and any concerns you may have, relating to our work together

  • To treat you and your family with kindness and respect

Your responsibilities to our organisation

  • To provide us with the information we need to provide a good service to you

  • To let us know if any of your details change, your plan is being reviewed, or you stop being a participant of the NDIS.

  • To let us know if you need extra information or for your information to be in a different format to meet your needs.

  • To let us know if you are unhappy with any aspect of our service

  • To treat our staff with kindness and respect

Payment Method

Once you have received the agreed supports from a supplier, they can send us the invoice directly and we will process payment within 7 Business days pending any issues from the NDIS. We will provide you with an information sheet for your suppliers, so they have our details.

Disclaimer: Future by Design Australia information is provided in good faith, to the best of our knowledge and is considered to be correct at the time of communication, however, changes may affect this accuracy therefore Future by Design Australia gives no assurance as to the accuracy of any information or advice given.

Any advice given by Future by Design Australia outside of financial intermediary advice shall be considered general in nature. Future by Design Australia shall not be liable for any failure of, or delay in the performance of this service agreement for the period that such failure or delay is;

a) Beyond the reasonable control of a party,

b) Materially affects the performance of any of its obligations under this agreement, and 

c) Could not reasonably have been foreseen or provided against (e.g. Government Acts prohibiting or impending any party from performing its respective obligations under the Service Agreement contract) or (e.g. prolonged lack of power supply).

Nothing in the Future by Design Australia service agreement negates or diminishes the statutory guarantees regarding the supply of services the Participant/nominated representative receive under The Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010-Schedule2)

Future by Design Australia takes in good faith the information provided by the Participant/nominated representative to be true and accurate, and that claims presented by Future by Design Australia are a true reflection of goods and services provided to the Participant in line with the NDIS guidelines (National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013).
